About me
I'm an AI Research Engineer working at the intersection of multimodal learning, combining computer vision and large language models to solve complex problems. My research spans remote sensing, biomedical NLP, machine unlearning, and sports analytics, with hands-on experience in dataset curation, evaluation design, and reproducible ML experimentation using PyTorch and HuggingFace.
Currently conducting research at the University of Malaya on multimodal pipelines for sports talent acquisition, I've previously contributed to applied research at ISRO on satellite image super-resolution and worked on small language models for medical domains at IIT Madras. My work includes designing experiments that outperform state-of-the-art baselines, building automated data curation pipelines, and preparing research manuscripts for peer-reviewed venues.
Beyond research, I contribute to open-source AI projects, serve as the President of the Student Council, lead our Music Club, and perform at intercollege competitions. Whether it's writing, mentoring, or podcasting about the cosmos, I'm driven by curiosity and a desire to push the boundaries of what's possible with intelligent systems.
